I consider my time in scouting to be one of the most formative experiences of my life, as I became a much tougher person. From sleeping without a sleeping bag or tent at High Sierra in the coldest night of my life, to hiking 70 miles of the JMT and Whitney after overcoming a terrible case of altitude sickness, Scouting has really tested my limits. As I embark on a career in the startup world and the tech industry, I lean on the lessons I learned in Scouting to push me through the tough times.
