High Adventure

In addition to monthly overnight camping trips and a week at a Scouting America summer camp, we offer challenging ‘high adventure’ trips for older scouts, including multi-day backpacking trips, canoeing trips, sailing trips, and an annual week-long ’50-miler’ to destinations such as Oregon, Idaho, Yosemite, and the Philmont Scout Ranch High Adventure Base in New Mexico.

These trips provide opportunities for older scouts to put what they have learned through our Trail to First Class program into practice, over the course of a longer and more intensive trip.
